Customer Review :
I am very impressed with my Duopower!
I found this sonic toothbrush browsing on Amazon. It looked so cool I had to try it. I chose the orange colored brush. I've never used a double brush head toothbrush before. It is amazing! My teeth felt so clean and polished. I would never spend the amount of money those other guys are charging for a sonic toothbrush, and most of the lower-priced sonics looked bulky and heavy. This one is just the right size. Before I found the Duopower, I used electric brushes. This brush is battery-powered, which I like, and comes with a replaceable head (and the battery)- a great bargain for $40. It's easy to use and, like I said, works great. I'm sold on double brush heads and I'm sold on the Duopower. I am buying a few more for my teenage daughter and 10 year old son. I will feel better knowing their teeth are truly cleaned and, who knows, maybe save some dentist bills. I highly recommend this product!!

The coolest toothbrush on the planet!
I love this toothbrush!
I was looking for a sonic and found this one. Of course it looks so cool I had to try it - the orange one. And, it was affordable which made the purchase even sweeter. It works great! I had a Sonicare Extreme - the cheap version of the Sonicare - and it really is cheap! The batteries quit within a month or so, the base is really heavy and bulky and it gets nasty after a few brushings.
I've had the Duopower for months and it's still running fine. It stays nice and clean, is light weight like the description says, and is very easy to use. Also, it fits in a holder so it's not cluttering up my bathroom counter.
The dual heads are amazing. They clean both sides of my teeth and with a low-noise level. The Sonicare vibrated my face off and electric brushes are just plain noisy. This one is the perfect speed.
It came with a free replacement head and even a battery. Sweet! I highly recommend the Duopower Sonic.

Sonicare Essence Toothbrush 2 pk.
We have been very please with these tootbrushes. It has worked out well, as we share the charger between the two brushes. We have never used any brushes like this in the past, but decided to try them. The angled neck makes all areas easy to reach. I also appreciate the 30 second intervals so that I know when to move on to a new quadrant.

Great high-speed toothbrush
After many years of good service, our old sonicare toothbrush's batteries finally gave out. I found the best price for the E 5500 on [...]. and ordered it. It is just great! At first, it tickles a bit since it is new and has lots of power, but this works even better than our old one did when we bought it new several years ago. I am impressed by all of its features and the price is really good since it comes with two brush heads. If you get a sonicare, it is a better deal when you buy one with two or three brush heads. You will not be disappointed!

Best Sonicare configuration for two people!
This is another one of the effective, durable line of power toothbrushes from Sonicare, which was the brand recommended by my dentist. The best reason to purchase this particular model is that it comes with two complete brushes and one charger for a reasonable price. Most couples don't need two separate chargers in the master bathroom, and this configuration allows you to save a little money over the purchase of two complete brush/charger sets. Neither one of us needs the charger on the same day (each brush gets charged approximately one time per week, which takes about 18 hours for the full charge).
As far as the performance of this product, it has been reliable for the past two years. The signal between "quadrants" of your mouth is just noticeable enough to tell you to move onto the next area. It really leaves your teeth and gums feeling clean and fresh.
Brush head replacements are a little pricey, but easy to find on sale. If you join the Sonicare website, they send you e-mail coupons periodically for $5.00 off of a package.
I highly recommend this configuration of the Sonicare!

Questions & Answers
Question : How do you clean the gunk from an electric toothbrush?
I hope you guys can help me with this since Philips (Sonicare maker) couldn't even properly answer this question. Almost every week, disgusting dark green colored film collects inside the electric toothbrush head. First of all, is this normal? is anyone else having this issue? I have to take a manual toothbrush to scrub out the film. Is this a common occurrence with electric toothbrushes, am I supposed to ignore this gross film and just change the head every 3-4 months? It's getting to be a hassle to have to clean out this film every week!
Answer:
THIS FILM IS A NORMAL OCCURRENCE WITH THIS BRUSH. ONCE PER WEEK USE A PAPER TOWEL DAMPENED IN RUBBING ALCOHOL TO CLEAN THE INSIDE OF THE CAP.
THIS MAINTENANCE MUST ALSO BE DONE FOR THE RUBBER CONNECTOR OF THE BRUSH HEAD.
REMEMBER TO REPLACE THE BRUSH HEAD EVERY THREE MONTHS.
I USE THE SONICARE ELITE MODEL.

Question : Is it ok to use an electric toothbrush if you wear braces?
I want to change my toothbrush ,so i was wondering if an electric toohthbrush is good to use.
Answer:
An electric toothbrush is a great idea to help clean your teeth while in braces. May I recommend a Sonicare or an Rotadent. You can get a Sonicare from your dentist or at your local Wal-mart. A Rotadent you can only get through your dentist.

Question : What happens if you use a denture brush as a normal toothbrush?
oh no, I think I made a mistake. I used a denture brush (it was called plaq killer or something) as a regular brush. The bristles were allot more stiff then a regular toothbrush and I think I might of scraped off all the tooth enamel without realizing it. It worked good for brushing my tongue but I might of made a big mistake using it on my teeth. What do you think? Any dentists?
Answer:
You got really clean teeth.
Seriously, don't worry about it. The danger is to your gums as most denture brushes are too rough on the gum tissue.

Question : How to make masturbating with an electric toothbrush fun?
I have been masturbating with an eletric toothbrush but I can't seem to get myself to orgasm. Can someone give me any new ideas on how to make it more intense?
Any new techniques? Or special positions to make it interesting and fun? Or anything like that would be good.
Answer:
With a little imagination, just about anything can be used. Just remember to keep it clean, anything that is going in or on your vagina needs to be clean. Also, you'll want to be able to clean the item, so it will be ready for next time. NEVER insert anything that can break-off, like a bananna, or something. You wouldn't want an embarrising trip to the ER!!
The kitchen is a good place to start, a lot of utensils have very interesting handles. Some are nice and thick, others have a lot of ridges or bumps. Also you'll get a kick out of seeing somebody use it after you have... :)
You can also use the tub, turn on a GENTAL stream of WARM water, then lay under the spout with your feet up on the wall. Position your vagina right under the stream, it feels wonderful!!!
An adjustable shower head works just as well. You can also use an electric toothbrush, not the brush side. Place the back of it against your clit, and turn it on.
You can also hump your way to an orgasm. Just stack a few pillows, climb on top, squeeze with your legs so that they are firm, then start thrusting back and forth. If you have a stuffed animal, you can ride his face the same way. A bear or pig, or something with a snout adds extra pleasure.
You can add even more pleasure by inserting something in your butt. Start small and work your way. You can use lotion as lubricant. Your finger works well, you can also use a tampoon or something similar, just remember, nothing breakable, and you need to be able to remove it when your done.
Let me know how it works out for you.

Question : what is the difference between an electric toothbrush and a sonic one ?
Why are sonic toothbrushes better ? What does the sonic bit actually do that a usual electric toothbrush doesn't ?
Answer:
The standard electric toothbrush just mimics the use of your regular toothbrush with the up and down or round and round motion. The Sonicare toothbrush uses a vibration means of pulsation that works with water, toothpaste, and saliva in your mouth that literally vibrates the debris from under the tissue, in between and on the teeth off better than the others. It really does make your teeth feel like you've just had them professionally cleaned! Next time you're at the dentist ask for a demonstration. They are highly recommended in the dental profession.

Question : How Do I Stop My Toothpaste From Going Down My Toothbrush?
How do I get my toothpaste to not go down the toothbrush. It's not when I brush my teeth. When I use it it doesn't go down the toothbrush, but when I'm done I rinse it really good and make sure there isn't any toothpaste on it. But the next time I use it, there is dried up toothpaste on parts of it. So I need help.
Answer:
Hang it bristle-down when not in use.

Question : What do people with eatting disorders use a toothbrush for?
I know it can be used to induce vomiting but is there anything else? My suit mate used to keep a really nasty moldy toothbrush on the sink in our bathroom and i really don't think she was brushing her teeth with it. She threw up a lot but I know she had a lot of health problems so I don't know if it was self induced vomiting.

Question : How do you know if a toothbrush is extra soft? What number do you choose?
I need a very soft toothbrush and I like Oral B brushes, non-electric, regular brushes. What do the numbers mean by the grade such as soft, hard, med.?
Answer:
choosing a soft tooth bush is the best, just soft. nothing special. its about the pressure of how you brush long sweeping motions and gentle massaging will always get your teeth clean with minimum damage to your gums or enamel. the grades only refer to how stiff the bristles are, people think the harder they are the better, when in actuality they are damaging their gums and teeth by using something so abrasive, it means they add more bristles. also the size of the brush head it important, the smaller the better. the less surface area the brush covers the better you brush, it is a false sense of security by using a large hard brush.. one more thing don't use toothpaste if you wanna make sure that your teeth are getting clean, when you run your tongue over your whites and they are smooth they are all clean , then use some paste to brush you tongue, polish and freshen up? good luck

Question : When did toothbrush and toothbrushes become seperate keywords?
I just noticed recently on Google that toothbrush and toothbrushes were seperate words. I thought, in regards to keywords, the singular and plural versions were the same to both Google and Yahoo. Can someone offer helpful tips and any advice?
Answer:
You are correct that use of plurals and compound keywords is appropriate and anything else, i.e., the singular form is just another piece of spamdex.
Good luck!

Question : How do you clean a toothbrush?
Is their a way to clean a toothbrush with home ingredients.
Thanks for the answers
Thanks for the answers
Answer:
I use Milton's sterilising solution, used for sterilising baby milk bottles and teats. Just rinse before use.
But you must replace your brush regularly.
I asked my dentist he said that soaking in sterilising solution would be very effective and will not effect the brush.
