Will this fit my brush?
The rating for the over all sonicare brush I would give is a 5, but why make it so hard to match replacement heads to the unit you have? My brush says: "PHILIPS Sonicare" and then, etched into the bottom, "061009 HX9500". With Philips changing their models every year, you would think that Philips, or even amazon would list all compatable models with their replacement heads, but they don't. Why? Do they hope we'll give up and buy a whole new unit? So who does list this info? The only people who really care about selling small amounts of items at a time:
eBay sellers!
Doesn't matter what you're looking for, Google your model number, what you're trying to replace, with "ebay", and then click on the first eBay link on the list.

Sonicare is the best!!
Sonicare toothbrushes are excellent and come highly recommended by dentists. I have been using one for some time. It is very helpful to be able to obtain the replacement brush heads from Amazon.

A treat for the gum!
I have been using sonicare for five years after going thru a gum surgery. I was happy with Sonicare standard brush heads except for occasional gum irritation. By switching to E-Series two years ago, not only did the irritation go away, but also I enjoy less noisy brushing. I must say that I had to clean brush head buildups more frequently compare to E-Series.

Love Phillips Sonicare!
Love my Sonicare. It has made a world of difference in dental checkups. Phillips Sonicare does require some extra effort to keep clean. But, prefer it over oral B, which manufactures new toothbrushes every year/some heads don't fit some models etc.. Became so frustrated it trying to find the heads...I even e-mailed the company several times. They never responded to my questions. So bought Phillips/the heads fit all models. Very happy.

Philips Sonicare
This toothbrush is the best. It is worth every penny that you may spend on it. It does most of the action on your teeth and leaves your teeth and mouth feeling clean and fresh. It is not harsh as some brushes can be. It does the job better than any regular toothbrush. It is also very good for your gums. You don't have to use any pressure. The brush does the work. It has a timer on it, so you know how much time you are spending brushing. I have tried many electronic toothbrushes, but this is the best. I have been using it for over four years now, and would recommend it to anyone. Your teeth will be the healthiest. Don't hesitiate--you will love it.

Package of 3 / For use with the Oral-B Triumph Electric Toothbrush Dental Care System
Customer Review :
Much harder than others
I'm not a big fan of these refills. They clean more aggressively than the normal ones. Some might like this, but I find the brushing action too harsh to use on my sensitive gums. YMMV.

Good brush heads,
I've been using the floss action heads for 2 years and my teeth feel clean and refreshing every time. My boyfriend is also starting to love this type and we need to order more often through the subcribe and save option here at Amazon that can save you more money + free shipping every 3 months, or 6 months. I think the system is very convenient. I recommend this pack.

Change to These
I changed to these brush heads after using the other basic type for years and what a difference. I highly recommend these brush heads - I do see a difference and especially if you brush for the recommended two minutes. Wish I'd changed sooner.

Bonus Benefit: STOPS STAINS ON TEETH!
I used to use the soft oral B brushes. I tried the floss brush and happily noticed that after my dental cleaning the usual staining of my teeth that happens over time never happened. Those little rubber paddles must be removing the stains before they start! Fantastic!
For me, this is a very powerful whitening brush.
Caveat: You must still floss. No brush replaces flossing.

Terrific Toothbrush!
I did a lot of researching before buying an electric toothbrush because let's face it - these babies are expensive! I bought mine a little over a year ago and immediately fell in love with it. It works wonderfully, it cleans your teeth amazingly. My teeth have been whiter and strong since I started using it. The replacement heads aren't too expensiuve either. I get my 3 packs here on Amazon for $13 and you only have to replace them every 2 months I'd say - but you could wait longer and it still works fine. It even tells you when it's time to replace by starting with blue bristles that slowly turn to white as it's used. It has a timer on it so you brush your teeth for the full recommended time. When your done it shows a smiley face. It has different settings for the kind of brushing you want. It doesn't hurt your teeth and does a great job, you don't even have to press it to your teeth. If your looking to buy one - buy this one. It's so great I even bought myself a second one for when I travel. :)

Dentist recommended
Years ago my dentist recommended we get a Sonicare and we did and I was immediately impressed with the difference. These replacement brushes fit our unit perfectly and my only complaint is after every use you have to take off the plastic screw piece or mold will start growing due to the trapped water underneath. The brushes last approx. 6 months before obviously needing to be replaced (bristles start to splay out) and the subscription program is great as I don't need to remember to order them they just arrive at my door! We purchased the smaller head ones for our toddlers who love using "mommy and daddy's toothbrush!"

excellent service
I am a newcomer to this service and I waited many days past the est day of arrival before I contacted someone about not receiving my toothbrushes. I got an immediate and very courteous response. In 2 days I had my toothbrushes!! I am as pleased with the service as I am with the merchandise!

Philips Sonicare Advanced
The Philips Conicare Advanced Replacement Brush Head is a great product. It fits the A-Series toothbrush and is easy to replace. It comes in a one or two pack so you can save money and only have to purchase a new brush head once every 6 months.

thankful to find a standard sized head
I was super grateful to find this replacement head. I like the "standard" size much better than the compact size that one usually finds in the stores. Thanks for offering it, I know now where to get my replacement heads quickly and without leaving my house :-)

Small Sonicare Toothbrush Head
My wife was determined to have a smaller toothbrush head for our Sonicare Toothbrush and I found the solution at amazon for a reasonable price. Works fine no complaints and saved me from buying a whole new toothbrush.

Good dentist response
I have used the Elite since it came out and the regular Sonicare before that. I was having a little trouble reaching behind the very back molars. With the new compact head I am able to do an excellent job of brushing that area. I took my new one to my dentist and she was impressed. She hadn't seen the compact and is suggesting that head for her husband who has little space in back of his molars as I do. Have enjoyed my Sonicare for years and wouldn't use any other toothbrush.

Sonicare Elite e-series brushes
As usual, the replacement brushes for my Sonicare Elite e-series are still in the "elite" quality category. I have had my Sonicare 9500 Elite toothbrush for 4-5 years, and I am very pleased with the care this brush gives my teeth. Anything to keep me away from dental needs is greatly appreciated!! Amazon.com is still very pleasant and easy to work with for my internet purchases.

This is the gold standard
The compact brush is the ideal size for your teeth and gums. Especially, for the molars which are sometimes hard to reach with a standard brush. I've used the standard brush for many years, but when this size became available I gave it a try. It is the only size I will use now. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and it is impossible to find a compact brush in a store. Either you buy online or you don't have it. You already have the premier electric toothbrush in America and now you can have the premier compact brush.

The 4 pack power toothbrush head replacement will last me a while, and it was cheaper than buying in the store. Shipped immediately, and was using in only a few days. I do recommend this product to anyone that owns the Oral B Power toothbrush.

Yup, they do what they're supposed to. My dentist noticed less gum recession after only a couple of months of use.

These Do An Excellent Job!
Visits to the dental hygienist have become far less traumatic (on both of us) since using this product. The different colored bands allow sharing the more expensive base unit. Last a very long time, and worth far more than what is charged here.

Better than a Sonicare
I tried the Sonicare for 6 months. My dentist advised that I needed to brush better. I switched to the Braun/Oral-B and like the smaller flexi-soft head. The smaller head is easier to get into those hard to reach places. My Hygenist noticed a difference in my next cleaning 6 months later.

Questions & Answers
Question : Questions about Oral-B power toothbrushes?
Well, I don't know if the brushes are designed in a standard for all Oral-B handles or there are different brushes for different handles.
http://www.theessentials.com/jump.jsp?itemID=1002&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C3%2C115%2C312%2C319&iProductID=1002
and is that brush provided with a charger or do we have to purchase a seperate one ?
Thanks a lot
Answer:
If you check around on the Oral B website, you will see that there are different heads for different electric toothbrush models. Most of the companies that make electric toothbrushes do that. I guess it creates built in obsolescence of your product in the name of progress.

Question : Using colgate 360 microsonic power toothbrush after having braces
Is this toothbrush ok for people who have retainers? or is it harmful that it can move teeth because of vibrations?
Answer:
As long as you are not forceful when brushing your teeth. Just use gentle short back and forth motions when brushing. Be sure to angle your toothbrush at 45 degrees towards your gum tissue.

Question : Which is better a battery powered toothbrush or a rechargeable toothbrush?
I'm currently looking into battery powered and rechargeable toothbrushes but I'm not sure which is better and which one to go with. I am torn between the oralb vitality and the oral b advanced power 400 series and the oral b cross action power. All of which are battery powered except for the vitality. The vitality brush heads all except for the sonic vitality brushhead fits the oralb advanced power. So my question is which is better, battery powered or rechargeable?

Question : What do you want in a kids' electric toothbrush?
In terms of power, batteries, weight, cost, charging station, maintanence cost, a little cartoon character on it...etc.
Answer:
I dont want an ordinary toothbrush with the straight-flat edge, more like the flexible version and reach in all places. Rechargeable batteries, minty flavor toothbrush, a free sample of recommended toothpaste when it is sold, the toothbrush doesn't become that over-worn.

Question : Could a battery powered toothbrush start a fire?
If it was left on when you left the house to drain the battery...is there a possibility it could spark or something and start a fire??
The insert that came with the toothbrush says to drain the batter once a month and recharge from scratch to keep it working better. I have no idea how that helps, but thanks for the help! My mind is now more at ease! I get paranoid about these things!! :-)
Answer:
No. The maximum energy output by the battery (usually AA's)
could not generate enough heat to even start melting the plastic handle. I have never seen or heard of one being able to spark. You'd need a lot more electricity to do that.

Question : Oral-B Cross Action Power Electric Toothbrush?
Ok my toothbrush won't stay off.. like i press down the "Off" portion of the button and it stays off for like a second, but every time I even so much as touch any part of the brush, it turns back on! like when i go to put it in the holder, it turns itself on.. it is really quite annoying.. is there anything I can do? Or should I just buy a different kind of electric toothbrush?
Answer:
Sometimes, dried toothpaste sticks underneath the control switch. Try rinsing it really well in hot water.
