Orab B 7400
I had an older Oral B electric toothbrush that died on me, so this was the replacement I got. It did take a little while to get used to (especially if you have sensitive teeth). However, I love the little buzz it gives off every 30 seconds for a total of 2 minutes. That way you know you brushing each quadrant properly. I also like that it gives you a signal if you are brushing too hard. Overall, a great product for the price. I originally found it at Target, but then I searched Amazon and found it for $16.99 cheaper (that included the shipping fee) and I didn't have to pay sales tax!

Very Happy
This product is wonderful! My dentist noticed my healthy gums after using it for a short period of time. In the beginning it took me a little while to get used to the brushing feel however now I would not want to go back to a regular toothbrush. I have recently bought my second one after having my first one for approximately 7 years. I replace my brush heads 2-3 times a year.

Sonicare toothbrush
I bought this toothbrush because I was the only one left in my apartment who didn't have one. Both of my room mates swear by their electric toothbrushes an after a little research I decided on this one. For the price (it was on the lower side of the ones I looked at) it is amazing. I will never go back to a regular toothbrush again. It doesn't need to be charged frequently at all, and so far it has proven to be very durable- it has been dropped off the sink several times and still works as good as the day I got it. I highly recommend this product.

Must have for a happy healthy mouth
Not having dental insurance I make sure I take very good care of my teeth and this product can't be beat. My teeth became whiter, my mouth feels "happy" after using it and my dentist is delighted when he sees the results. This is the second one I've bought. Regardless of the two-year limited warranty the last one lasted me over eight years. I can't say this one will last that long, or that yours will, but even if it was only a fluke it's obvious they make a sturdy product.

Sonicare Advance Toothbrush
My dentist recommended Sonicare and I've been using it for about 5 years. This is my 2nd and I wouldn't use anything else. Great product and it arrived within the timeframe they promised.

super clean
Takes the guess work on cleaning by automatic shut off feature when brushing is complete. It leaves my teeth feeling like a professional job was done in cleaning my teeth every time. And I can travel with it and stays charged for a long weekend.

Gift for GF and she loves it
I bought this for the girlfriend for her birthday... no it was not a hint to her :)
I use the Oral-b Sonic and decided to try this for her since it had more interchangeable heads. She is a big oral hygiene nut and that is a plus. After two days she loved it and still loves it after about a month. Her only issue is that she feels inclined to brush four times twice a day since there are four types of tips that came with the brush.

Questions & Answers
Question : wats a good power toothbrush?
under 20
Answer:
Seriously, my dentist tried to sell me one that's like, $125, which I did not buy. I use the Crest Spin Brush. It's only $8 and the heads are replaceable. My teeth feel nice and clean. I also floss. It's nice and cheap.

Question : Toothbrush for Braces??
I'm getting braces in about a week, I had the spacers put in yesterday. Will a battery powered toothbrush make it easier to brush my teeth? will it damage the brackets? what would you suggest?
Answer:
Hi! I'm a dentist & practicing Orthodentist as well. With regards with your problem on toothbrushes, I would suggest to try to talk to your dentist about it. Cause in my case, as an Ortho, I'm providing a toothbrushes for my patients with braces. It's a special toothbrushes that has a curve area in the middle of the toothbrush so as to fill up the spaces that your braces will occupy when you will be brushing. I see to it that I also provide a interdental brushes too to my patients to make it easier for them to maintain good oral health.
I guess when you'll be asking your ortho he will provide you more info about it just the way I'm providing infos & as well as toothbrushes & interdental brushes for my ortho patients too..
By the way Oral B & Colgate has also braces toothbrushes that's available in the drugstores or markets too..
Though battery operated brushes can help you maintained a good health, It's still important to have a specific tool for a specific instances..
Hope this can help you alot..

Question : Do you think I'm entitled to a refund on a battery powered toothbrush I bought from Tesco?
I bought one and in order for it to function, I had to open the bottom of the toothbrush (to insert the batteries which were included) with a coin. I and my mum tried every which way we could to get the damn thing open and I nearly dislocated my thumb! I decided to take it back to Customer Service at Tesco and asked them for a refund. I got no reply and she disappeared out the back and I noticed she managed to get it open herself with a coin. I said,"Well, can you close it now and do it again, to make sure". However, whilst she was doing so, the head of the brush touched the dirty desk and phone and I said, "Well, I can't use it now, it’s touched everything”. She said, “But there’s nothing wrong with it”. So, I was left without a refund. What do you think?
Answer:
Stupidity runs rampant in the world today. It’s clear by the responses who the idiots were that gave you thumbs down, Jus Curiuos (who can’t spell), susie x, and Medium Dave. These idiots probably work in customer service too. The very term customer service is to ensure a satisfied customer and a repeat customer.

Question : How to use an electric toothbrush?
I just bought an Oral B Cross Action Power brush and was wondering if I just held the toothbrush on each tooth and let it spin or if I use a back and forth brushing motion like I would with a manual brush while the electrical brush head spins on the teeth.
Answer:
The great thing with an electric toothbrush is it does most of the work for you! Just hold the bristles of the brush against one tooth at a time, angle the bristles slightly so they are at about a 45 degree angle towards the gums and let the movements do the work. Spend a few seconds on each tooth and work your way around your mouth. Use light pressure so you dont cause trauma to your gums and dont forget to floss!

Question : What is that one powered toothbrush that can also has a tool that cleans your tongue?
I remember seeing a powered toothbrush a while back but forgot wat it was. It has multiple heads i guess. one for your teeth and the other for the tongue. I heard your tongue is the one that makes ur breath smell.
I just want something good! What do you guys recommend?
Answer:
My dentist recommended "Interplak' made by Conair available at drugstores, target, etc., and I have used it for 2 years with good results.
The system has a plastic container that you put water (or mouth wash) in, and includes a toothbrush and (4) tools, including the toungue scraper. The other tools will jet the water through your gums, removing food particles.
It's an easy, fast and inexpensive way to get your teeth really clean, and costs about $ 30.00.

Question : Is it worth it to get an Oral-B D9511 Plak Control Ultra Power Toothbrush with Timer and Charger?
I'd like one with a timer on it but it's taking more than a month or two to get it shipped and delivered on Amazon(43 bucks). Is it worth it to get it or what? Where else can I find one?
Answer:
We have timer toothbrushes for our kids and they are great. The kids know that the toothbrush has to stay in their mouth until it goes off. We've just got to hope it cleans their teeth in that time!

Question : Oral-B Cross Action Power Electric Toothbrush?
Ok my toothbrush won't stay off.. like i press down the "Off" portion of the button and it stays off for like a second, but every time I even so much as touch any part of the brush, it turns back on! like when i go to put it in the holder, it turns itself on.. it is really quite annoying.. is there anything I can do? Or should I just buy a different kind of electric toothbrush?
Answer:
Sometimes, dried toothpaste sticks underneath the control switch. Try rinsing it really well in hot water.

Question : Sonicare Toothbrush????
I am currently using an Oral-B Vitality Sonic toothbrush that i bought for 20 bucks at Target. Is this good enough for periodontal gum recession or would a sonicare toothbrush be better? If so, which Sonicare toothbrush (there are many)? Also, how would it be better?
this is a link to my current toothbrush
http://www.oralbprofessional.com/us/products/power/powvitalitysonic.asp
Answer:
I prefer the Oral-B Triumph over the Sonicare. It just works better for me. The Vitality is good as long as you brush often enough. And with periodontal issues you must must must floss at least once a day.
