A great toothbrush
This is a great toothbrush. While it is an upgrade from my previous Oral-B toothbrush, this one does it all and does it well.
Rating :
Excellent investment
Prior to purchasing the Oral-B Triumph, I had used an Interplak electric toothbrush for a number of years. I had been reluctant to change, but Interplak stopped manufacturing the brush heads I needed. Since switching to the Trimuph I've been very happy. The motor is strong and delivers satisfactory power to the brush head; the unique pressure sensor cuts the motor when it senses that you are pressing too hard on your teeth (which leads to gum problems), and the unit is easy to clean. In addition, the fully charged battery provides at least two full weeks of 2x/day brushing, as promised. The only downsides so far are minor: The charging base is too big for a narrow bathroom shelf and the battery takes a while to charge fully. But on the whole I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it readily.

Good product
Takes some getting used to after only using a manual brush, but I do enjoy it.

Oral B 9400
I have been very satisfied with the oral b 9400. I like the timing feature that tells you when 30 secs has passed.

An AC adapter for an Eton Emergency Radio
I ordered the adapter because we wanted to user the Eton Emergency radio for normal and frequent news broadcasts. So far, we have had the AC adapter 2 weeks and all it is working well for my radio. I was happy that Amazon.com stocked this accessory. I could not find it at Radio Shack were I bought the radio.

good clean healthy feeling
Makes my mouth feel clean and fresh, and my dentist says more healthy. Fantastic product. Works perfectly so far, and battery holds charge for weeks. Last one held up for 4 years. I think letting the battery run down before recharging will help.

Sonicare 5300 is the best
My old sonicare batteries no longer would hold a charge which means the whole unit is toast. My new 5300 is much better all around. I like the slimmer brush holder as it reaches every tooth. The cleaning action has been much improved and I feel like I've just been to my hygienist for a cleaning after brushing. This is definitely the best unit on the market as far as I'm concerned. I do wish the batteries were replaceable however.

Sonicare is SUPER
My dentist suggested I use an electric toothbrush; this is my second Sonicare, and my teeth are healthily, squeequily, SUPER clean. Love it.

Sonicare - really works
This is my third Sonicare toothbrush. The one I'm using is still working great but I decided to purchase a backup with great price that Amazon is offering. I also have the UV Sanitizer that really cleans the brushes.

Sonicare Toothbrush
This is the first time I have ever purchased and used an electric toothbrush. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone. The initial investment might be a bit expensive but your oral care/health is worth the investment. My teeth feel clean and are more white than when I used a regular toothbrush.

Great product!
I have been a Sonicare user for about 10 years, and just purchased the FlexCare. It is absolutely fantastic! Never go back to a manual toothbrush again. And the sanitizer is great! I highly recommend this product!

Oh What A Feeling
I purchased the sonicare as a replacement to a Braun product which has seen better years. I must say initially the Sonicare was more powerful than realized and it took a few times before being able to use it at the normal speed. Currently I am very satisfied with the system and feel my teeth and gums get a great workout each use and are nice and clean. Good investment. I gave a 4 star rating due to the price.

Great product. When my old one from many years ago finally gave out, I tried to just use a regular toothbrush. It is just not the same.

Outstanding Sonic Toothbrush
Best sonic toothbrush on the market. Far superior to the newer Sonicare series, which have brushes too small for a normal sized male mouth.
Rating :
Great upgrade
I purchased this toothbrush a few months ago and am extremely pleased with my purchase. It took a week or two for me to get used to brushing with this new brush, but once I did its been great. My teeth feel like I just got back from the dentist when I finish brushing. Also, one charge lasts 2 week easily for this brush. I would highly recommend this brush for anyone in the market for new one.
Rating :
Junk
The Philips sonicare advance series is a piece of junk. On my first purchase I noticed that the replacement heads never lasted the six months they are supposed to last, cracked in less than 3 months.
When the handle cracked (after about 18 months) I bought another. The new one, the handle cracked within 3 months, and lasted less than a year. the heads cracked and did not last even remotely close to the 6 months they are supposed to. I've tried this brush twice,I'm through wasting my money, I'm going to Oral B (Braun)

Sonicare Toothbrush
I already owned a Sonicare 4100 and it has been a very reliable and effective tool. When traveling to my second home, I brought the toothbrush but forgot the charger so I decided to get a second one. The Amazon price was very good and shipping was free so I ordered. The new 4100 is exactly as good as my earlier 4100 except that I was unaware that it comes either with or without the feature to let you know when each 30 seconds of the 2 minute cycle is up. My old one has this feature, the new one does not. That was a minor disappointment as I thought I was buying exactly the same product.
Rating :
Great Product
System is a very fine system. I had the same product for about 6 years prior to this one.

Faubous Toothbrush
I love this Sonicare Toothbrush. The size of the head gets in all the right places...the vibrating speed is comfortable...After the 2 minutes, you feel like you have had a professional cleaning!

Sonicare toothbrush
This is my second Sonicare unit and I like this one even better than the first one. The neck has a smaller diameter and angle which makes it more efficient in my estimation. I give it a five star rating and would reccomend it to anyone.

Very Good!
This product is really Good! I've used for years and I am pleased with the way it functions.

Smiling more!
My hygenist recommended that I get a Sonicare. What a great product. It takes a little getting used to the vibrating feeling on your teeth, but what a difference it makes. My teeth are noticably whiter and my gums feel much better. It is set to run in four 30 second increments which is great to make sure you cover your entire mouth for the appropriate amount of time. My mouth feels great every time I brush! I withhold the rating of five stars, as no product is perfect. As always, AMAZON is super fast with products arriving. Never disappointed.

Does a great job and last a long time!
This is the second we have purchased. The first one must have lasted close to 3 years before the sealed battery finally wore out. I had gingivitis and since using this toothbrush, my gums have not receded one bit. This one may cost more than others but, when I checked a couple years ago, it was the highest rated electric toothbrush available. It was well worth the money.

Questions & Answers
Question : Can i get into college for dental hygiene and then after finishing it continue for dentistry?
I was wondering if i could do dental hygiene at first then, if later on i decide to go further then will i be able to continue to become a dentist.
Answer:
Many students do that first. If you decide to continue on to be a dentist, many of your credits can be transferred so that you will not have to retake many of the courses. Good luck, my dear!

Question : should i leave of my university where i study sociology and go to a community college to study dental hygiene?
I'm in school getting a sociology degree but I really really really dont want to. I was orignally going to school to do dental hygiene but I didn't get in the dental hygiene school at my university. So I was wondering instead of letting my parents spend 24,000 dollars on my schooling each year maybe i should go and do something i really want to do. The only problem is that they wont help me pay for a community college education (lol, parents), so I would have to come up with the money myself. What should I do? any ideas?
Answer:
No matter who is paying the bill, there's not a lot of point in getting a degree in something you don't want. I'm not sure what your intent was to do with a sociology degree, but a bachelors might not buy you much in the way of jobs. Dental hygiene is a field with a lot of job opportunity.
Talk to your parents and let them know you just don't have interest in the soc field.
On the other hand, if you only need a few more credits for your degree, it's probably worth just finishing it up on the theory that any degree is better than no degree.
Good luck.

Question : Does anybody know how many years it takes total to get a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene?
I cant make up my mind if i should get my Associate's or Bachelor's in dental hygiene?
Answer:
Bachelor's degree is generally a four year degree.
If it helps in your decision, it would not make one bit of difference to me if a job candidate had a 2-year or 4-year degree. There are so many other things that are important for the job. Maybe others don't feel that way, but I do. As long as you are a well-rounded person who can hold a conversation and think your way out of a paper bag, the extra years in school do not really contribute anything to the skill set needed to do well in your job.

Question : How to pay for DENTAL HYGIENE SCHOOL with bad credit?

Question : What would be a good gift for a dental hygiene student?
She is graduating with her AA and I want to get a gift that would be helpful upon entering dental hygiene school.
Answer:
How about one of those smocks that they wear? In general for graduates, I suggest: a laptop carrying case/bag, an organizer, a web cam if she's going far away so you can chat and see each other, flash drives, lots of little helpful things such as:
pens
textbook page markers (plastic flags)
high lighters
