Better than a Waterpik

I used a Waterpik for about eight years but couldn't seem to make it enough of a priority with the hassle of setting it up every time. I switched to a portable Waterpik and didn't like not being able to adjust the pressure and having to refill about three times each time I used it. This HydroCare system is so much more convenient! I use it every day while I'm showering and I never have to worry about mess, filling and refilling, electrical/battery issues, etc. It's easy to adjust the pressure. My one and only complaint is that I'd like to buy extra heads for it and I'm having trouble finding them.

Makes your mouth tingle!

This is the way to go!
I've had two other oral irrigators in the past but this surpasses them by miles. Another thing that I like about it: no batteries or pump to wear out.
If you are looking for a GOOD water-pik, buy this one.

At last!

Too bad this is out of stock. I have always wanted an oral irrigator that I could use in the shower. The only sensible place to use one. I'm going to look for their web site or other location for this (even though Amazon is my favorite web shopping site).

Amazing teeth cleaner in a small package

I have both versions of the Panasonic oral irrigators, and they work great, last forever, and are inexpensive to boot.
So what if you have to refill the water once or twice to finish the job?

Works well

Works as it is suppose to - don't expect it to be as powerfull as a 110v one but it works for me. If left to sit for an extented period, you may need to soak overnight to clear the pickup.

consistant

this is a replacement for the same irrigator that I have used for years. Bought it because of the performance of the one replaced.

Does The Job

I purchased this product having just committed to one year plus with a full mouth of braces. I have been using it for four months now and it has so far stood the test of time. It will not, however, last forever. It is lightweight and travels with me almost everywhere. I use it after meals for a quick clean. It feels great on the gum line and my Orthodontist constantly remarks on the great upkeep of my teeth (I also use and panasonic electric toothbrush). If I had a bigger apartment, I would certainly commit to a more serious, larger machine...but if you're pressed for counter space and on the go this will suit you just fine. I have no problem filling the tank a few times, but I do wish it was under $30.00 because I have a feeling (because of constant use) I will have to replace it before the year is up.

Questions & Answers
Question : Is it difficult to be accepted into a dental hygiene program at a community college?
I am planning to enroll in a dental assisting program in January. It is a 15 week program after which i will become certified. After i am certified and working as a dental assistant, how difficult is is to get accepted to a dental hygienist program at a community college? Any info you can give me about this field would be very helpful! Thank you so much.

Answer:
Dental hygiene programs are very selective in their admissions. You will need to have excellent grades in your college courses. Don't despair. I've had two da's go on to hygiene school. They took college courses at night at the local community college. Good luck in your career!

Question : What would happen if I do the Dental Hygiene program and fail the state test?
I know that after doing the Dental Hygiene program, I would have to take the Dental Hygiene National Board Examinations and the California State Licensing Examination, but what happen if I fail both test? Can I still work as a Dental Hygienist or do I have to start on a new major? Also, should I apply to Foothill college or Cabrillo College (both school are in California) for a good Dental Hygiene Program?

Answer:
In Arizona (where I live) you can actually work without a license as a Dental hygienist in a federal setting (such as VA hospital, prison, base...etc) You do have to have a DH degree though... Check out if it's true in your state. You can usually find this info in the packet you have to study for your jurisprudence test. Another tip: study from the Kaplan book for the National Board, you'll find all the things you need to know for the exam. And don't forget: the Board is curved, so to get a 75% passing grade you actually need only about 60%.

Question : Is the Utah College of Dental Hygiene worth it?
I want to go to Dental Hygiene School but I dont want to leave the State really. weber state and Utah valleys Dental hygiene programs are both supposed to be really difficult to get in to. UCDH lets in more students then either of those but is also more expensive. In the end on a Dental Hygiene Salary I will be able to pay it off but I just dont know if its worth it.

Answer:
Yes it is worth it

Question : How long is the wait list for Dental Hygiene in CA?
Preferably, I'd like to know if you currently applied to Dental Hygiene school in California and how long your wait is projected to be. If not currently or not CA, please answer anyway, I'd like to know an average. Any recommendations from graduates and newcomers? I'm barely starting to get my classes completed for my Associates so I can apply next year, any advice is more than appreciated! (Like when to start applying, things to know, etc) Thank you in advanced!!!

Answer:
It would not be an issue of a waiting list but whether or not you would be accepted (high competition -- focused on applicant's GPA.). Best wishes.

Question : Anyone in the dental hygiene program at the University of Bridegport, CT?
I need to know if the school has a good dental hygiene program. If not, what other options do I have in CT? I do not want to pay all that money to get a crappy education; I am very worried because I haven't heard any good things yet. I love a good educational challenge.
