Best toothbrush ever! No cavities for 15 years!

The individual bristles actually spin. Great for getting in between teeth and keeping gums healthy. I started using an older version of this toothbrush about 15 years ago. I haven't had a cavity since. I only brush my teeth once a day and yet every time I use it my teeth feel as clean as if I just came from the dentist. I also don't have to go to the dentist as much because plaque just doesn't build up. And the dentist says my gums are the healthiest he's ever seen for someone my age. So buy this toothbrush and save yourself some dental bills!

Question : wats a good power toothbrush?
under 20

Answer:
Seriously, my dentist tried to sell me one that's like, $125, which I did not buy. I use the Crest Spin Brush. It's only $8 and the heads are replaceable. My teeth feel nice and clean. I also floss. It's nice and cheap.

Question : Is it normal to lose some sensation in your teeth for a few mins after using a power toothbrush?
Is it normal to lose some sensation in your teeth for a few mins after using a power toothbrush?

Answer:
Yup! I bought a very fast rotating toothbrush, a sonicare, and it tickled and my tooth was so not used to it it took a little while to adapt! Good Luck!

Question : How to use an electric toothbrush?
I just bought an Oral B Cross Action Power brush and was wondering if I just held the toothbrush on each tooth and let it spin or if I use a back and forth brushing motion like I would with a manual brush while the electrical brush head spins on the teeth.

Answer:
The great thing with an electric toothbrush is it does most of the work for you! Just hold the bristles of the brush against one tooth at a time, angle the bristles slightly so they are at about a 45 degree angle towards the gums and let the movements do the work. Spend a few seconds on each tooth and work your way around your mouth. Use light pressure so you dont cause trauma to your gums and dont forget to floss!

Question : Questions about Oral-B power toothbrushes?
Well, I don't know if the brushes are designed in a standard for all Oral-B handles or there are different brushes for different handles. http://www.theessentials.com/jump.jsp?itemID=1002&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C3%2C115%2C312%2C319&iProductID=1002 and is that brush provided with a charger or do we have to purchase a seperate one ? Thanks a lot

Answer:
If you check around on the Oral B website, you will see that there are different heads for different electric toothbrush models. Most of the companies that make electric toothbrushes do that. I guess it creates built in obsolescence of your product in the name of progress.

Question : What is that one powered toothbrush that can also has a tool that cleans your tongue?
I remember seeing a powered toothbrush a while back but forgot wat it was. It has multiple heads i guess. one for your teeth and the other for the tongue. I heard your tongue is the one that makes ur breath smell. I just want something good! What do you guys recommend?

Answer:
My dentist recommended "Interplak' made by Conair available at drugstores, target, etc., and I have used it for 2 years with good results. The system has a plastic container that you put water (or mouth wash) in, and includes a toothbrush and (4) tools, including the toungue scraper. The other tools will jet the water through your gums, removing food particles. It's an easy, fast and inexpensive way to get your teeth really clean, and costs about $ 30.00.

Question : Sonic, Waterpik, Interplak, Oral B power toothbrush?
I want to take better care of my teeth but I'm not sure what products that I should get. I don't have dental insurance so this is something that is a high priority to me. Which of these products do you recommend? Have you seen a difference in using the products? What is something that I should be aware of when using the products? Thanks.
